One of the earliest pregnancy symptoms some women are lucky enough to feel is implantation cramping. The moment your fertilised egg attaches itself to your uterine lining.
Implantation Cramps vs PMS Cramps
Are you wondering if you could be pregnant and if you are feeling implantation cramps? You are not sure how to tell the difference between pregnancy signs and pms cramps? There is a fine difference. I explain how to recognize implantation cramps.
How to Recognize Symptoms of Implantation
Implantation Bleeding or Spotting
Implantation can cause your uterus to feel crampy on one side for 2-3 days, whilst your fertilized egg travels from the fallopian tubes and nestles into the lining of your womb.
When the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine lining, it could cause a little “spotting” or light bleeding. This is called implantation spotting or implantation bleeding. Normally a dark brown or rusty brown colour. The moment your egg nestles into your uterine wall, this is when you may feel a sharp cramping pain.
Bleeding or spotting is normally light and lasts for around two to three days. If you experience more heavy bleeding or unusual pain, please contact your doctor.
